2024 Skin Contact Mourvedre

The third and final red wine from 2024! This Mourvedre comes from the Ann Kraemer's Shake Ridge Ranch in Amador County. Wines made from Ann's vineyard have always stood out to me from the very beginning of my wine journey. Many winemakers that I look up to have worked with Ann and praise her winegrowing skills as much as they praise her as a luminary. 

This Mourvedre was destemmed and had just 6 days of skin contact with low extraction being the goal. The wine spent 19 months in barrel.
